TS Gayundah: This is a 1/6th representation of the Training Ship’s badge. This Australian made, 3 dimensional custom crafted product, is hand painted using marine enamels and complies with the Royal Australian Navy colour specification. The badge is cast using a two-pack polyurethane media and is extremely durable.
It is most often mounted on a Navy Board (Std) or Navy Board – (3 point shield) shaped timber board, stained in rich walnut with a high gloss finish. There is a keyway routed into the back of the board for wall/bulkhead mounting.
TS Gayundah was established in 1954 and originally staffed by demobilised WWII officers and sailors, led by LCDR Len Roberts MBE(M) (RANR Rtd) until mandatory retirement with the advent of Naval Reserve Cadets. Gayundah has an enviable history of developing young men and women who choose to make a career of the Royal Australian Navy and the Australian Merchant Service.
TS Gayundah has been awarded the Navy League of Australia Trophy for the most efficient training ship in 1961 and 2014.
Variations in mounting can be arranged by emailing us direct.
Please note: If you select the “Badge Only” option, the choice of wood stain and finish is irrelevant.
